CLASSES & CAMPS
SEWING
Class times were created with the idea that learning to sew should be enjoyable and not rushed. You might not finish your projects in the allotted time and that’s okay. If you don’t finish arrange a private sewing session to complete your project.
SEWING - PRIVATE LESSON
Are you interested in sewing but can’t seem to make a class work? Or would you like to learn with your kids, spouse, bff? Have a specific project in mind? There are all kinds of reasons you might want a private lesson.
Let’s get you scheduled.
Cost $50 for 2 Hours plus supplies (supply needs will depend on your skill level and project picked to make)
SEWING 101
LINED LIBRARY TOTE
Join me for a hands-on introductory class that will teach you the basic skills needed to construct a simple sewing project. This class is a perfect way to give sewing a try without buying all the stuff.

Supplies Needed- Fabric: 1/2 yard of main fabric, 1/2 yard of lining fabric

Cost $30, 2-Hour Class, Ages 8+
Dates: June 14 from 6-8 PM, June 17 from 10-Noon, July 12 from 6-8 PM, July 15 from 10-Noon
*A sewing machine will be provided unless you want to bring your own.
SEWING 102 LINED ZIPPER BAG

Please take a 101 class than this one. We will practice our straight lines and learn to put a zipper in. Size approx 9"x9"
Supplies Needed:
-
1/4 yard each of 2 coordinating fabrics or 2 fat quarters. You will have leftover fabric.

9-inch zipper You can use bigger if you want a bigger bag.

Dates: June 21 from 6-8 PM, June 24 from 10-Noon, July 19 from 6-8 PM, July 22 from 10-Noon
*A sewing machine will be provided unless you want to bring your own.
Camps
Camps are designed to be fun and non-rushed. All projects are NEW and different from the projects available during Open Paint. Kids MUST be at least 6 yrs old, see each camp for a specific age.
IMAGINE, DESIGN, CREATE
In this 3-day camp, kiddos will IMAGINE their character, DESIGN it by drawing it out then we will CREATE it out of fabric. This camp will have a bit of hand sewing as well as machine sewing. Time permitting will make accessories for the stuffie, like a cape.

Cost $90, ALL Supplies are included.
Date: 6/20/23-6/22/23 from 930-noon, Ages 8+
Kids will learn the basics of hand & machine sewing.

Beach Theme Camp
Beach camp is designed for girls and boys, ages 6-12. Kids will create a main DIY project each day PLUS a few other fun creations! Participants will be able to customize and choose their project design elements and paint colors!
PLEASE NOTE: TECHNIQUES MAY REPEAT BUT EACH WEEK THE CRAFTS ARE DIFFERENT SO FEEL FREE TO ATTEND MULTIPLE WEEKS.

Stars & Stripes Camp
